On March 31st, Refinery29 partnered with Netflix for an intimate Season 2 fan screening of the upcoming hit show, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”
Hosted at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, we brought together die-hard Kimmy fans, influencers, and R29ers for the preview screening. A post-screening R29-led Q&A with cast members surprised and delighted guests and gave them insight into filming production and season 2 teasers.
The screening was followed by a reception that featured a pop up Dylan’s Candy Bar station, Kimmy swag gifting, Pinot by Tituss, and was complemented with a soundtrack spun by one of our favorite female DJs, Lola Langusta.
With over 900 RSVPs, the buzz surrounding the event was undeniable. Amassing over 500K social impressions, #KimmySchmidt was a night to remember!
